The Crédit Agricole Transitions et Énergie team raised €5,013 in its first year participating in the Course de la Jonquille (Daffodil Race), a charity event organised by the Institut Curie as part of the national campaign Une Jonquille Contre le Cancer (A Daffodil Against Cancer). This initiative is part of the company’s societal commitment, complementing its activities in the renewable energy sector.

A 13-day charity sporting challenge
The Course de la Jonquille took place from 11 to 23 March 2025. During these 13 days, participants could choose to run or walk at their own pace anywhere in France using a dedicated app. The aim is to cover as many kilometres as possible to support medical research and innovation carried out by the Institut Curie. Each participant sets their own distance target when they register and can track their progress on the Course Jonquille app.

A commitment to cancer research
Crédit Agricole Transitions et Énergie employees got together to form a team and take part in this race. This collaborative effort demonstrates the company’s desire to get involved in causes that go beyond its core business.

A national event to support the Institut Curie
The Une Jonquille Contre le Cancer (A Daffodil Against Cancer) campaign is a national initiative to raise funds for medical research and innovation at the Institut Curie. The donations collected are vital for faster progress in the fight against cancer. Participants are also eligible for tax relief on their donations. The 2025 La Course de la Jonquille finished on Sunday 23 March. The funds raised are donated to the Institut Curie to support cancer research.
