Non-accessible content

Non-compliance

  • Some texts have too little contrast with their background: this is the case for several texts in the cookie acceptance and settings component, for example;
  • Some interface components have too little contrast with their background: this is the case for form fields, the Search and Contact Us pages, for example;
  • Videos, such as on the Offers and Job Offers pages, only have subtitles automatically generated by the YouTube platform;
  • The nature of some media is not clearly identifiable: this is the case on the Our Jobs and Testimonials page, for example;
  • Some links are not sufficiently descriptive: this is particularly the case for links leading to the English and French versions of the site;
  • Some scripts present are not accessible. Examples:
  • On all pages, in narrow view or on mobile, the interactive element that shows and hides the main menu has a label in English;
  • On the pages of a member of the management committee and Our Professions and Testimonials, interactive photo galleries (or “carousels”) are not displayed as such.
  • Some scripts do not behave according to the recommended keyboard usage: the submenus of the main menu do not behave as expected;
  • Tags are used solely for presentation purposes: some spacing between paragraphs is created using empty code tags. This is the case on the page of a member of the management committee, for example;
  • Content is not always properly structured with headings: this is the case in the cookie management component, where some headings are not rendered as such;
  • Some lists are not properly structured: this is the case with a list on the Legal Notices page, for example;
  • Content cannot always be displayed without requiring horizontal scrolling for a window width of 320px: on the page of a member of the management committee, for example, the page text is no longer visible;
  • Form fields do not have a properly associated label: this is the case for the form fields on the Contact Us page, for example;
  • Form fields have a label that lacks precision regarding the expected data: this is the case for the phone number field label on the Contact Us page, for example;
  • Input validation is not properly used: in the contact form, for example, error messages are in English and are not linked to the corresponding field, and required fields are not clearly defined;
  • The tab order is not always consistent: this is the case in the main menu in narrow view and on mobile, for example;
  • The office documents available for download do not have an accessible version, or the accessible version does not provide the same information: this is the case on the homepage, for example.

Derogations

The YouTube video player is exempt as it cannot be modified.
