Position

Since July 2025, Carole Vachet has held the position of Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Transitions et Énergie

Career

Carole Vachet joined Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies in January 2025, after working 10 years in the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.

In 2015, she joined the Treasury Department, where she was responsible for economic and financial relations with Russia and Ukraine, and then for financial sector regulation in the areas of savings and financial innovation. In 2017-2018, she was the State representative on the Savers’ Commission and on the Audit Committee of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF).

From 2019 to 2022, she served as advisor, deputy director and then director of the cabinet of two successive Secretaries of State for Digital Affairs.

In July 2023, Carole Vachet joined the office of the Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty as Deputy Director of the Cabinet, a position she held until autumn 2024.

January 2025, she joined Crédit agricole Transitions et Energies as Project Leader working with the Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies.

Education

Carole Vachet holds a master’s in public affairs from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and is a former student of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
