Pascal Désamais has been Chief Executive Officer of ISARA-Lyon since 2009. He served as Head of Development from 2005 for the engineering school, which specialises in agriculture and agri-food.After working as a quality manager at various factories within the Besnier-Lactalis group from 1984 to 1989, he joined the ISARA-Lyon engineering school as Head of the Agri-Food Technology Department. At the same time, he taught agri-food technology and quality management.In 1996, Pascal Désamais became Head of Research at the school, a role to which he added responsibility for the educational programmes offered by the establishment as Director of Education and Research in 2000.
After graduating as a biological engineer from the Clermont-Ferrand University Centre for Science and Technology, he obtained a D.E.A. (postgraduate diploma) in Food Sciences (1984).
