Career

Paul Carite began his career at Société Générale before choosing to join the Crédit Agricole Group in 1991, in Lot et Garonne as Head of Corporates, Agro-food Industries and Public Authorities.

In 2000, he joined Crédit Agricole de Gironde as Director of the Corporate, Professional, Agricultural and Public Authority Markets. He then became Head of Business and Private Banking and afterwards, Head of Distribution at Crédit Agricole d’Aquitaine.
In 2006, he joined LCL as Head of Corporate Banking and then Head of Corporate Banking and Payment Flow Banking, member of the Executive Committee. He became Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole de la Guadeloupe in November 2011.
In 2016, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée, then Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne in 2020.
